(1) Whether M had deliberately absented himself from trial, (2) whether, having been convicted in his absence, M would be entitled to a retrial upon return to Albania; (3) whether M’s extradition was barred by the passage of time and (4) whether the notice of appeal was served out of time and, if so, whether the court had power to grant an extension of time for serving notice of appeal in extradition proceedings. |
